Our team was formed in the fall of 2005. The three schools spent several weeks introducing themselves and researching possible topic ideas. Suggestions were made, discussed, and voted on. It was decided that our final topic would deal with natural disasters and the impact they have on our world. Our topic was divided into several subtopics and students chose the group they would work with. Research and site development began around the winter holidays.
After their term break in December, Northfields found it necessary to drop out of the competition. The majority of Mott students completed their portion of the project by mid-January when their course ended. Mott Computer Lab Assistants and Neveh Channah students worked for the remaining weeks to complete and fine-tune the project.
